Ampli Ventures invests in Car Care

Ampli Ventures has made a new investment in fast-growing company Carcare (www.car-care.io). The company is based in Östersund and has developed an innovative SaaS platform that helps car dealerships and other automotive players shorten their lead times and become more efficient. The total round is in the range of SEK 15-20 million and will be used to further develop the platform for existing customers and expand to new markets.

"We are very impressed with what the team at Carcare has accomplished. They have managed to innovate in a fairly conservative industry in a short period of time and have succeeded in attracting several of the leading car dealerships in the Nordic region as customers. Together with the Carcare team, we now see a great opportunity to add additional resources to contribute even more to existing customers and expand the company to new markets" says Adrian Iredahl, co-founder and partner at Ampli Ventures.

Car dealerships currently face multiple challenges and being efficient is more important than ever. New distribution models in the automotive industry require new processes. At the same time, dealerships still operate with a high degree of manual processes, increasing cost levels and the risk of errors. The pressure on efficiency is further emphasized by the negative economic outlook, which reduces overall demand for new cars. Unfortunately, today's IT systems are relatively outdated and do not provide the support needed.

Carcare's platform is designed to support dealerships’ transformation towards higher efficiency and bridge the gaps of today's systems. The platform integrates on top of the existing IT environment as well as with several external data sources. It then automatically tracks all cars and provides employees with advice on the next steps. By continuously helping employees understand what to do next, Carcare helps its customers measurably professionalize their processes and increase efficiency. In addition to contributing to economic efficiency, the Carcare platform also helps dealerships adapt more sustainable business models within used cars and sales of new electric cars.

"We are very pleased to have Ampli Ventures as investors. They share our vision and we see great value in their experience of supporting SaaS companies. Carcare has an exciting future and we look forward to continuing to develop the product and expanding to new markets," says Lars Eriksson, CEO of Carcare.
